Re: M-3 Rezoning Application for Industrial
Buiiding at Broadway and Morgan -
File R#9-78

On October 2nd, 1978 a-public information meeting
on the subject development was held. A copy of the minutes
of the meeting is attached.

On October 3rd, 1978 the Planning and Zoning
Committee further considered this proposed devebpment based
on responses noted during the public information meeting,
and the Committee recommends that:

1. the rezoning application be advanced to Public
Hearing;

2. the Public Works Committee investigate the effects

of:

(a) cancelling the northerly half of Morgan between
Broadway and Ryan,

(b) physically closing Morgan at Broadway to stop
through traffic;

3. the Leisure Activities Committee investigate the

possibility of tree planting on that section of Morgan to be
cancelled.
