8. lf the Lessee shal! hold over and after the expiration of the term hereby
granted and the Lessor shal! accept rent, the new tenancy thereby created shall be a
tenancy from month to month and shall be subject to the covenants and. cond{tions
herein contained, and the rent may be Increased by the Lessor and the monthly tenancy
terminated by either party in accord with the laws of the Province of British Columbia
for residential tenancies.

9. Wherever the singular or the masculine are used in this Indenture, the same
shall be deemed to include the plural or the feminine, or the body polftic or
corporate; also the helrs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns of the
respective parties hereto and each of them, (where the context or the parties so

require).
