The Cammittee has approved a list of eight topics which have been parceled out to sub-committees for study and report during the 1983 year. Very briefly, these topics ‘are as follows: l.. To review all regional municipal emergency plans in order to recommend a standard concept of command and control. As a number of municipalities may well be involved in any major accident, it is important that there is some standardization in structure so that command and control is simplified. This task will also look at regional evacuation plans and sharing of evacuation centers. To recommend a standard mutual aid format between municipalities similar to what the Fire Chiefs have, which would apply to all municipal departments. Tao prepare a list ‘of resources and specialized equipment which may be useful to municipalities during an emergency situation. 17
