At the regular Council meeting held on May 27th, 1974, a report fron the Health Committee, Nay 23rd, 1974, concerning the above-noted subject was considered and the following two ‘resolutions proposed with respect thereto: ‘1. "That as recommended ina report from the Health Committee, May 23rd, 1974, the Pollution Control Board be advised that with respect to issuance of a pollution control petmit to a local firm, Kennametal, Inc., the uncontaminated discharge from the plant to be separated and directed into the City's storm sewer system is acceptabi e to the. City ‘providing that the cooling water is not discharged at such a high temperature as to cause unsatisfactory conditions downstream; AIM THAT the Pollution Control Board be thanked for advising the City of the disposit: ion of this application.” 2. | "That the foreroing resolution concernins the issuance of a pollution control permit to Kennametal, Ince, a local firm, be tabled for one week pendin; receipt of further information concerning the water discharge temperature."
