Parents Federation’s Update (continued from page 10) be the teacher responsible for the program. The preschool is housed in Rose-des-vents School in Vancouver. Best of luck and every success! FPFCB Guidelines The FPFCB is currently in the process of determining guidelines for the future. In response to the many changes occurring in education, it is time to step back and analyze the situation and make appropriate changes to ensure that our efforts will have maximum impact in years to come. As part of this process, we have invited our partners to a working session. The CSF, Francophone Teachers Association, Regroupement des directions d'écoles francophones, FPFCB, the Conseil jeunesse francophone, the BC Women's Network, and Educacentre will all be represented. We would like to poll these organizations regarding their opinions on future FPFCB intervention. Their various points of view will give us a better overall perspective and help us establish realistic and relevant guidelines that will satisfy the needs of the education system, parents, and the francophone community in general. During the November 2002 General Meeting, FPFCB members will have an opportunity to express their views on the Board's guideline proposals and to suggest appropriate amendments. The guidelines will then be submitted to the Assembly for adoption. Support for Parents Associations —————_—_—_ In conclusion, we would like to remind you that the FPFCB continues to offer a training program and support services for its members. Whether you are organizing and running a meeting, drafting a business plan, setting up a community- school partnership, or inaugurating a new primary or preschool program, the FPFCB is ready to help you meet the challenge.
