THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MAYOR AND COUNCIL DATE: APRIL 3, 1975 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE REFERENCE: AMENDMENT TO R#18/74 Council will recall in September 1974, upon submission of a mixed commercial/ residential development proposal at 2338 Marpole Avenue by Ideal Holding Ltd. the preparation of a land use contract to permit the development was authorized. The proposed development was to consist of roughly 2700 sq. ft. of commercial space on the main floor and 8 2~bedroom units on the 2nd. and 3rd floor. Shortly after the Public Hearing, we were advised by the developer that amendment to the proposed project was desired. The changes are as follows: Commercial space 2128 sq. ft. Apartment units 5 1-bedroom 5 2-bedroom total 10 Parking also revised to reflect the increased requirement. Due to the fact that the proposed development is being handled by way of a land use contract, amendment of this nature has to be re-processed as if it were a new application. ‘RECOMMENDATION: The proposed changes were brought to the attention of the Planning and Zoning Committee, and the Committee recommends that the changes be approved.
