i . Temp. Change- September 6th, 1977 in use at the City Hall, was then presented for initial consideration. Alderman Ranger spoke against the proposed amendment, and stated he felt the previously established hours of business from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. should be retained in order to accommodate the working public; also, he stated his concern at changing the hours of the outside workers from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rather than 8:00 to 4:30 P-em . as any roadwork, for instance, contemplated at 7:30 a.m., would create a ha-‘ship for oY motorists in the early morning rush~hour traffic. Alderman Traboulay stated he supported the extension of the summer hours as an experiment; however, he suggested that a full report be made on the results thereof when the trial period expires on December 31let, 1977.
