Musicamera. Pulcinella and The Liebeslieder Waitzes, both by the
“company’s world-renowned choreographer, George Ballanchine, are
performed. The first ballet was composed in 1920 by Stravinsky and takes
‘its title from the character in the Italian commedia dell‘arte. It tells with.
_wit, knock-about humor, burlesque and vivid action the tale of the clown
Pulcinella — his exploits, dreams and tribulations. The production was
specially designed by the neo-romantic master Eugene Berman. The
Liebeslieder Waltzes, by Brahms, reflect the social dances of Vienna
