Dear Mayor Scott,

We hereby respectfully request you to proclaim the week of
April 16-22 Chamber of Commerce week in Port Coquitlam.

Our request is in accordance with a recently issued procla~
mation by the provincial government to the effect:

"THAT it is considered desirable that public
attention be directed to the valuable and worth—
while work done by the Chamber of Commerce in the
various communities in which this organization

- is established; |

"AND THAT recognition be given to the Chamber of
Commerce:

"AND TO RECOMMEND THAT a Proclanation be issued
appointing the week of April 16 to 22, 1972,
inclusive, as CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WEEK in the
Province of British Columbia",
