THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM C 0 J N ( . MORAND | SEMORARESE AUG 28 1978 Mayor and Aldermen — August 22nd, 1978 R.A. Freeman City Clerk Re: Meridian Village Rights~of-Way To facilitate the installation of services to the Woodside Estates Development the City obtained a blanket Right-of-Way over the property to the north which is now occupied by the Greater Vancouver Regional District's Meridian Village Housing Development. It was necessary to obtain a blanket Right-of-Way as the developer of the Woodside Estates Project wished to proceed with construction before the exact location of the utility pipes could be determined. We have now been requested by the Greater Vancouver Regional District's Housing Corporation to release the blanket Right-of-Way in return for a Right- of-Way covering the specific area in which the pipes are located. This is, of course, the normal arrangement and the Engineering Department is satisfied that the Right-of-Way offered will be entirely adequate for the purpose and it is no longer necessary to maintain the blanket Right-of-Way. The execution of the Right-of-Way over the specific area is a routine matter for which Council authority already exists but release of the blanket Right-of-Way will require a specific resolution of Council and this could be given in the following terms: . "That the Right-of-Way over Lot 402 of the South West. Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, Plan 48587, New Westminster District in favour of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and registered in the New Westminster Land Registry Office under No. F41542 be and the same is hereby discharged and released; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary release documents on behalf of the City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto."
