Ri Dy Gs a eee January 27, 1992/016 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, January 27th, 1992, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Aldermen M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Director of Building Permits and Inspections J. Shardlow, Fire Chief J. Baillie and Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gordon: That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on January 20th, 1992 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. PROGLAMATION: WHEREAS One of the favourite leisure-time activities of the residents of Port Coquitlam is gardening; WHEREAS Port Coquitlam residents recognize the importance of the horticultural sector to our economy; WHEREAS The City of Port Coquitlam is particularly pleased to see that residents are working for a clean environment; AND WHEREAS The City of Port Coquitlam and the PoCo Garden Club urges all citizens, businesses, industries, civic groups, service clubs and schools to lend their support in a campaign of gardening, anti-litter, clean-up, paint-up and fix- 1p; NOW THEREFORE I, Leonard M. - Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam, DO H™ “AIM the week of June 14 to June 20, 1992, as: i.RDEN WEEK" and invite all residents, bu. and industries, civic groups, service clubs, and schools to participate 1 Garden Week.
