And miracle of miracles, we managed to find
snow for our event — a feat in itself this par-
ticular January, when there was barely any snow
anywhere between Rupert and Smithers!

(You will see, on page 6, how we were unable
to find any snow for our friends in Kitimat).

Just like last year, we had, as grand prize, a
return trip for 4 with Via Rail (Rupert to Jasper),
but we also had an early-bird prize donated by
B.C. Ferries.

And of course, we would like to thank all of
the local businesses who offered their support to
our festival.

And, will our festival be even bigger next
year? YES!

route, et encore une fois, nous serons dans votre
région!

Comme toujours, nous avons une sélection de
livres francais excellents pour les enfants de tous
Ages. Tout ce que vous avez besoin c’est d’étre
membre de l’ AFFNO, et vous étes préts pour em-
prunter des livres!

ville, il y aura une sélection de DVDs en francais.
Premier arrivé, premier servi. Mais ne vous inquié-
tez pas -- méme si vous ne recevez pas le titre que
vous voulez cette journée 1a, les DVD seront dis-
ponibles 4 votre bibliothéque d’école jusqu’a notre
prochaine visite de votre ville! Professeurs, notez
que vos étudiants ont la chance de regarder ces
DVDs en francais!

The mobile library will once again be in your
neighbourhood!

As usual, we will have a stellar seléction of
French books to choose from for children of all
ages.

All you need is an AFFNO membership, and
you’re ready to sign out books!

So when the Mobile Library hits your town, there
will also be a selection of French DVDs to choose
from.

First come first serve, but don’t fret — even if
you don’t get the title you want that day, those DVD
titles will be available through your school library
right up until our next visit to your town! French
teachers, please note that your students have the
opportunity to watch these French DVDs!
