COMMITTEE

Council will recall the report of the Planning and Zoning Committee of April 9,
1976 regarding a rezoning application to permit a 9-lot subdivision.

A copy of this report is attached for reference.

The report was dealt with by Council at the April 12, 1976 Council meeting in
which Council approved the holding of a public information meting.

On May 4th, 1976 a public information meeting was held on this application
together with the rezoning application on properties adjacent to the Regina
Street subdivision. In the meeting, other than the usual questions on school
accommodation, two specific requests directly related to this proposed rezoning
were made by the owners of the two adjoining properties.

road pattern in the proposed subdivision be revised to provide
direct access to the easterly adjoining property.

In response to request #2, the City Engineer has. reviewed the road pattern and
reported as contained in the attached memo.

RECOMMENDATION:

The Committee further considered this rezoning application on June 9, 1976
after receiving the report from the City Engineer, and wishes to recommend
that the rezoning and the proposed layout of the subdivision as shown on the
attached sketch be approved.
