March Ist, 1982. From the City Engineer, February 24th, 1982 regarding the work of local improvement on St. Anne Street. Moved by Aiderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: That the work of local improvement requested by petitioners for St. Anne Street be approved by Council and that the storm sewer portion of the work only be extended to include a section of Dorset from St. Anne to Flint and a section of Flint from Dorset to Prairie. Prior to the question being called discussion ensued regarding a proposed review of the Local Improvement Bvlaw and it was generally agreed that the work of local improvement should be deferred until this review was done. Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the work of local improvement on St. Anne Street be deferred until Local Improvement Bylaw No. 912 is revised. From the City Engineer, February 25th, 1982 regarding exchange of property with the Department of Highways and Canfor. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Aiderman Gates: That Council approve of the exchange of property as outlined in the City Engineer's February 25th, 1982 report, and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the agreement with the Ministry of Transportation and Highways for compensation. Carried. From the Recreation Director, February 22nd, 1982 regarding the route for the All Sports Carnival Parade. Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the route for the All Sports Carnival Parade, as outlined in a letter from the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association dated February 2nd, 1982, be approved for March 27th, 1982. Carried.
