The attached correspondence provides additional background on this
matter. Genstar has offered, without an admission of responsibility, to pay
half the cost of clean-up provided that the City releases them from further
responsibities in this matter. The School Board has agreed to pay for the
remaining cost of Clean-up. The Public Works Committee has reviewed the
history of this matter and recommends that Genstar's request be granted.
