BYLAW NO. 2259

A Bylaw to amend the Official Community PT
The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.

AHEREAS an Official Community Plan was adooted by the "Official Community Plan
Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162";

AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been Drevared and
after First Reading of this Bylaw the Council has:

(a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the most recent
capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the Municipal Act to
ensure consistency between them:

(b) examined the amendment to the Plan in conjunction with the Economic |
Strategy Plan entitied "Port Coquititam Industrial Uevelooment
Development Strategy" to ensure consistency between them: :

{c) determined that no applicable waste management pian exists for
consideration;

(d) determined that the amendment to the Plan does not affect the District
of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or
the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: ; ‘

The designation of "Institutional" shown on Schedule "B" of the Official
Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" as applying to:

The 0.279 ha portion of Lot 116, Northwest Quarter of Section 6,

Township 40, Plan 40349, New Westminster District, lying in the

southwest corner thereof and measuring 38.im from the west

property line and 73.204m from the south Property fine, :

iS removed and the designation "Apartment 1! js applied,

This Bylaw may be cited for al| Purposes as the "Official Community Plan
Amendment Bylaw No. 5, 1987, No. 2259",

Read a first time by the Municipal Counci! and given an affirmative vote by the
majority of all members of the Council this 13th day of April, 1987.

Read a second time by the Municipal Council! and given an affirmative vote by the Ho ee
majority of all members of the Counci| this 13th day of Aoril, 1987. |

Determined that the amendment to the plan does not aftect the District of
Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or the Greate-
Vancouver Regional District this 13th day of April, 1987. ot
