From the City Engineer, January ISth, 1979 advising of the suggestion made at the workshop meeting on January 12th, 1979 with the GVRD staff and B.C. Hydro that the present circuitoue Austin bus route from the Leugheed Mall to Port Coquitlam be rerouted to the new shopping centre in Coquitlam and that it be replaced with a new direct route between Port Coquitlam and the Lougheed Mail to serve commutors. The City Engineer advises this suggestion is to be considered again on January 25th, 1979, Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the present Austin bus route from the Lougheed Mall to Port Coquitlam be rerouted to the new shopping centre in Coquitlam and that it be replaced with - new direct route between Port Coquitlam and the Lougheed Mall to ยข. -e com-.tors. NEW _ BUSINESS: Alderman Wright spoke on his concern regarding the water pressure in the City and stated in his opinion he felt the City does not know what the water pressure is throughout the City. A brief discussion ensued, Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That the subject of water pressure in the City of Port Coquitlam be referred to the Public Works Committee for testing of all hydrants. Carried.
