The Potters’ Guild of British Columbia, is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in ceramics, It is a non-profit organization founded in 1955, and is a registered Society. The Guild maintains an office at 1359 Cartwright Street in Vancouver, B.C_, sponsors exhibitions, invitational shows, sales, workshops, publishes a newsletter, is permanantly represented on the NorthWest Ceramic Foundation Board of Directors and operates the Gallery of B.C. Ceramics. The Guild offers to its members the following: reduced rates to workshops and other events; the Newsletter published ten times per year; a book and publications library, video rental library, and the opportunity to sell work at the Gallery of B.C. Ceramics; encouragement to take an active part in the organization and its programs.
