ITEM NO. 1 - Sixth Annual Police/Sr. Citizens Picnic

- please see attached letter from Inspector R. W. Galbraith,
requesting the annual subsidy of $200.00 in support of the
Senior Citizens picnic.

Recommendation:

The Leisure Activities Committee recommends that the annual
request for $200.00 be granted to subsidize the Annual Senior
Citizens Picnic.

ITEM NO. 2 - Invitational Old Timers Hockey Tournament

The Port Coquitlam Old Timers Hockey Association has requested

a desire to. host a thirty-two team invitational tournament during
the period of September 20th to 23rd, 1979. Their request included
a charge of one-half the commercial rental] rate.

Recommendation:

The Leisure Activities Committee recommends that the Port Coquitlam
Old Timers Hockey Association be granted permission to host an
invitational tournament during the period of September 20th to 23rd,
1979, and that the charges be $30.00 per hour for the tournament.
