Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Thompson asked for clarification on two items in the report. The City Administrator provided further information which clarified the items in question. From the Finance Committee, October 6th, 1978 advising that study had been carried out on a Report from the Treasurer under date of September . Fin. Comm., Sept. | 28th, 1978 setting out estimated revenues and expenditures for the water 28/78 re Water and sewer utilities for 1979 and recommending an increase of 25 cents Rates, 1979 - ($.25) per month in the flat rate water rates and a proportional increase in the metered rates. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That as recommended by the Finance Committee, October 6th, 1978 an Increase of twenty-five cents ($.25) per month in the flat rate warer rates and a proportional increase in the metered rates be approved; AND THAT the City Clerk be instructed to prepare the necessary Rates By-law.
