Contract The new R.C.M.P. contract calls for a change in the cost sharing as follows: : Effective April 1, 1981 we pay for 81% of the costs (based on a per capita rate) as opposed to the prior first five members at 56% of cost and the remainder at 81%. Effective each April 1 of the ten year agreement our sharing percentage will. increase by one percent to reach 90% at the end of the agreement. One change needed to the contract is to change the reference, article 6(2) on gage 5, to our detachment to having 33 members not 34 as stated. Estimated costs of R.C.M.P. services: 1981 Budget $1,145,900 1981 Projected $1,036,000 * 1982 Estimate $1,385,000 * Based on a 5 member increase to 38 from July 1, 1982.
