RECOMMENDATION :

That the request to maintain the florescent lights for the Meridian
Industrial Park Sign be not approved,

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The attached letter from Mr. Beedie, developer of the Meridian Industrial
Park provides the background to this request.

The Committee considered this request and recommends that it be not
approved. This recommendation is consistent with Council’s current policy of
not maintaining private Structures,
