Tire Lire, whata
clever play on word! It
could mean of course
piggy bank, but
instead it playfully
invites young children
to a wonderful world
of discovery
through the French
language.

This resource centre aimed at children
from 0 to 5 years old, is inhabited by
magical beings, friendly animals and
clever heroes. They come alive mainly
through the colourful pages of books, but
can also be discovered through videos,
tapes, games and cuddly puppets.

Those items, over 2000 of them, are
invaluable tools to assist both parents and
educators to interact in
French with preschool
children.

Tire Lire tries to fill
a need in _ helping
francophone parents to
culturally and linguistically

enrich their children’s
environment. So please
