Community scheduled to be held at the Port Recreation Centre on October 31st, 1974, be jointly sponsored by the Lions Club and the Recreation Department of the City with the necessary funds being expended therefor through the Parks and Recreation Department; PROVIDED that ail the rules established for dances sponsored by the City at the Port Recreation Centre are followed. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking advised that there was considerable trouble due to lack of supervision at last year's Hallowe'en Dance, and it was recommended that the Club must abide by the rules established for such events the same as the Recreation Department. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Traboulay: That as recommended in a memorandum from the City Engineer, October 7th, 1974, the necessary steps be taken to increase the Pool, Gymnasium, Community Recreation Centre (Rossi Construction Ltd.) from $1,165,600.00 to $1,172,600.00.
