ITEM I: Letter from the Port Coquitlam Ministerial Society

. The Parks and. Recreation Committee have discussed the attached

letter. The Committee appreciates the concern expressed by the
Ministerial Society. There are many minor organizations as well as
adult organizations who book the ice surface. Once the ice time has
been allocated the organizations, such as minor hockey plan their
schedule. Further, this type of allocation-is done for our soccer
fields, baseball and softball diamonds, who also play on Sunday.
‘The Parks and Recreation Committee were unable to come to
any recommendation; therefore, we have brought the matter to Council

for théir consideration.
