Re; Housing Committee

WHEREAS Council has been attempting to stimulate the production of
affordable housing in Port Coquitlam for the past few years:

AND WHEREAS the Housing Committee that was struck last year brought
forth some ideas that have not been implemented to date;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Housing Committee be reactivated
and, along with the elected representatives on the Committee, a few local
builders and one real estate representative be appointed to the Committee,

I think this will give the Committee greater scope in dealing with
housing matters.
