Page 12 TERRACE “Omineco” HERALD, TERRACE, BRITISH COLUMBIA OBITUARY WILLIAM WALLACE Terrace, 6,C, Memorial service was held in St. Matthew's Church on Tuesday, February 8 for William Wailace, who passed away in Skeenaview Hospital on February 7 at the age of 68. The service was conducted by the Reverend A. P. Horsfield with Mrs. V. Seaman prealding at the organ. The remains were shipped to Courtenay, B.C. where interment took place in Sandwick Cemetery. The late Mr. Wallace was born For a Change of Pace. .. Blows were struck and knives were drawn until finally the whites took fright. McNeill managed to send a few pounds of their gleamings to James Douglas at Fort Victoria. But the “mine” was abandoned and proved ta be a small, freak deposit anyway.
