Application for Day Care Licence, 1490 Lynwood Avenue The owner of property at 1490 Lynwood Avenue has applied through the Simon Fraser Unit for a licence to operate a nursery school for up to fifteen children. In accordance with Council's policy the applicant has canvassed an area within an area of 200 feet from her home and has returned a petition indicating full support for the licence. No objections were recorded. The Committee is prepared to recommend the approval of the licence subject to the premises meeting building and fire regulations. 2. Extra Patrols - S.P.C.A The Committee met with John Van der Hoeven and Dave Alp of the S.P.C.A. and it was indicated that extra patrols for dog control would commence probably within the next week. It was stressed by the Conmittee to the 8.P.C.A. representative that the patrol should be conducted at random on the weekends or in the evenings when many of the dog problems occur.
