SUBJECT: 1990 Parks, Recreation & Cultural Plan :
(January 15,1991 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting

The 1990 Parks, Recreation & Cultural Plan was presented to City Council April 28.
1990, At this time Council received the report.

This year's Parks & Recreation Committee would like City Council to adopt the
Master Plan, in principle. By adopting the plan in principle it would give some .
concrete direction for both the Parks & Recreation Department and the Parks &

. Recreation Committee.

The Parks é& Recreation Department would then be able to focus in on certain issues
and bring back concrete recommendations to City Council. :

Attached is the Executive Summary of the Master Plan which highlights the main
