Re: Pollution Control Permit - Marine Plastics Ltd.

Attached hereto please find a letter dated February 19th, 1975
from the G.V.R.D. containing an application for a permit under the
Pollution Control Act 1967 (Emissions) from Marine Plastics Ltd. Aliso
please find attached a newspaper report dated March 20th, 1975. The
Committee is not ina position to recommend favourably or otherwise as to

_the conditionswhich the applicant should meet. It is suggested, however,
that the G.V.R.D. and/or the Pollution Control Board be requested to hold
a public meeting so that they could explain. to adjacent property owners
the circumstances which have resulted in the application and the require-
ments that are likely to be contained in a permit. :
