Mr. Jon Sigurdson, 3657 West 27th Avenue, Vancouver, lawyer for
Rastad Construction Co. was present to make a presentation on behalf of
the rezoning of 2532 Xingsway Avenue from M=1 to RS-1 and asked that it be left
in the M-1 Zone. Mr. E. Rastad was present and commented on the affect zoning
had on the value of his property.

Mrs. Lorraine Rayner, 3165 Pearkes Place, inquired concerning the regulation
regarding the numbers of unrelated pe.sons in the same dwelling in the RS-1
zone and stated that the ten presently permitted was too many.

At 8:00 p.m. the Public Hearing adjourned.

Carried.
Aldermen Keryluk and Laking voted against the resolution.
At the request of Mayor Campbell the City Planner give a further

brief explanation of some of the provisions of the by-law.
