A Bylaw to permit a person to operate certain classes of business MAR 1 1982
on Sundays and Holidays pursuant to Section 3 of the Holiday Shopping MAR 29 1982
Regulation Act S.B.C. 1980, c. 17 (the "Ac#€"),
The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port. Coquitlam,
in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. A word or expression used in this Bylaw has the same meaning asa
word or expression used in the Holiday Shopping Regulation Act S.B.C.
1980, c. 17 (the "Act"').
2. A person is hereby permitted:
(a) to carry on a certain class of retail business to
which this Bylaw applies, namely any retail business
carried on within the municipal boundaries: of The Corporation
of the City of Port Coquitlam:
to sell or offer for sale all goods and services of that
retail business in a retail establishment situate within
the municipal boundaries of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam (a "Port Coquitlam retail establishment"); and
(c) to admit the public to a Port Coquitlam retail establishment;
‘on all holidays, including Sundays.
3. This Bylaw classifies retail business by location in accordance with

subsection (3) of section 3 of the Act.

4. This Bylaw may be cited for all Purposes as the "Sunday and Holiday
