PHONE 939.920! SCHOOL DISTRICT No. 43 (COQUITLAM) S80 POIRIER ST. COQUITLAM, B. Cc. P-~186a, October 10, 1974 Mr. V.G. Borch, City Engineer Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam 227e McAllister Avenue Port Coquitlam, B. C. Dear Mr. Borch: Re: Hastings Junior Secondary School Enclosed are copies of our letter to Mr. Pollock dated June 11th and Mr. Freeman's reply dated June 14th. You will recall that we had a telephone discussion regarding access to the school site via Hastings Street on July 23rd, 1974, at which time I explained to you thats When the school opens the majority of the pupils attending will be resi- dent in the City of Port Coquitlam. The District of Coquitlam will have a street access to the site from the north. There is limited auto traffic by pupils to a junior secondary school because the pupils attending the school are not of driving age. 4, The District of Coquitlam has not required the construction of Lincoln Avenue as a condition of the owners subdividing his property to create the school site. We are anxiow to finalize plans and specifications for the school building and:: . would appreciate receiving confirmation as soon as possible to the effect that Hastings Street will te available as access.
