Seconded by Alderman Traboulay:

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, September 19th,

1978 the District of Coquitlam be given permission to provide water to

Mr..Atherley's proposed new home at 1160 Devon Road.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Ranger asked that a report be prepared on the existing water
supply in the area and the possible future usage. A discussion then
ensued.

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, September 19th,
1978 the request from the District of Coquitlam for permission to
provide water to Mr. Atherley's proposed new home at 1160 Devon Road be
deferred for two weeks pending a further report from the Committee.

Carried.

Aldermen Mabbett and Traboulay voted against the resolution.

From the Public Works Committee, September 19th, 1978 recommending
that a railing be constructed for approximately 100 feet along the lane
at the back of 1422 Pitt River Road at a cost of under $1,600.00.

That. as recommended by the Public Works Committee, September 19th,
1978 a railing be constructed along the lane at the back of 1442 Pitt

River Road.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Thompson asked that the request for a fence along the lane
behind 1442 Pitt River Road be deferred for two weeks to allow Council
members time to study the request.

That as recommended by the Public. Works Committee, September 19th,
1978 the request for a railing to be constructed along the lane at the

back of 1442 Pitt River Road be deferred for two weeks.
