SUBJECT: Client Contract - Cornerstone Architects

Recommendation: ; ,

1. That the Parks and Recreation Committee be authorized to be the
"sign off" authority for the design drawings.

2. That the City Clerk and the Mayor be authorized to sign the
client contract between the City of Port Coquitlam and
Cornerstone Architects.

Background and Comments:

A copy of the contract, from Cornerstone Architects, has been
received by our Solicitors. Some minor changes were suggested
and these are reflected in the new contract. In the contract
the Parks & Recreation Committee is designated as having

"sign off" authority; in order for the Committee to exercise
such power a resolution must be passed by Council indicating
that the Committee has this authority.
