Background & Commente The initial proposal of a 30m dyke through Lions Park caused much concern with staff and City Council. ‘. This proposal would include the extension of the asphalt pathway through the park, (as shown in the map). The pathway would be 12 foot wide with a four to one slope. which would allow the trees The cost of the asphalt pathway and adjacent landscaping would be the responsibility of the provincial/federal government.
