That.Council direct the City Clerk to amend the City Traffic Control Bylaw # 1117 to include a
30 km/h Playground Zone on Westminster Avenue from 1790 Westminster to 1730 Westminster.

Residents near James Park School have requested that a 30 km/h Playground Zone be designated |
on Westminster Avenue along James Park School as well as the installation of double solid
centre lines on Westrninster in this area. _

As the school fields in this area are used for soccer and baseball on 2 regular basis, it -
‘recommended that Westminster Avenue from 1790 Westminster to 1730 Westminster be

_ designated as a 30 km Playground Zone. — - a

| The Public Works Committee has approved the installation of double solid cenire lines along |
Westminster Avenue for a distance of 40 metres on either side of the existing crosswalk. oe
