SAM UHLICK

Sam Ublick is a studio production potter who runs a pottery with his wife Antonia Huysman in Edmonton,
Alberta, He produces a variety of domestic high-fire stoneware and has successfully made a living by making pottery
for the past twenty years. He spent a year in Japan and also apprenticed under Michael Cardew at Wenford Bridge
Pottery in Devon during the late seventies. He set up his own studio upon returning t Canada. The workshop which
Sam will be giving in Vancouver on March 19/20) will consist of demonstrations of his working methods and
discussions on studio practice. See registration form below, Ed.
