Since the release of her first aloum in 2009, Genevieve has performed her songs throughout Quebec, in Europe and the United States, as well as at the Olympic Games in Vancouver. In August 2014, she released a second album in French under the pseudonym of Willows, reflecting her desire to maintain the aspect of contemporary folk music but at the same time, to get closer to her mixed roots, which blend her Franco- Manitoban, anglophone and Métis heritage. She has received numerous accolades for her compositions, including the Western Canadian Music Award for “Francophone album of the year’, the Edith Butler Prize awarded by the Quebec's Society of Professional Singers-Songwriters, and the “Discovery of the year” award from the Pully- Lavaux Festival (Switzerland).
