‘JHE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM November 2nd, 1979 REPORT TO: Mayor and Council FROM: Leisure Activities Committee ITEM NO. 1 Concession Operation The P.C.A.A.A. earlier this year set up a Committee to look into the possible operation of the concession housed in the Port Recreation Centre. The P.C.A.A.A. Committee indicated that they were interested in operating the cuncession and have met with the Leisure Activities Committee. Recommedations ° The Committee recommends that the City enter into an agreement with the P.C.A.A.A. for the operation of the concession immediately and that the agreement include the following clauses: a. That the City receive 5% of the gross revenue in lieu of “rent and that this 5% be received every six months after the books have been reviewed by the Treasury Department. That P.C.A.A.A. comply with all health department regu- lations while operating the concession. P.C.A.A.A. supply public liability insurance for the concession area only (to cover people for food poisoning, etc.). P.C.A.A.A. be responsible for providing the Leisure Activities Committee with a list of items to be sold and their prices. (Help provide quality: control.)
