Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Laking: THAT the neighbourhood group be requested to hold a public information meeting about their proposal to amend the Official Community Plan. AND THAT Council direct the Clerk's Office to prepare a bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan, Schedule A Section 4.2.2 (3) adding the subject properties to the first paragraph and deleting the second paragraph Section 4.8.1 deleting the second paragraph. Schedule B redesignating the subject properties from Agriculture to Future Residential Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, June 12th, 1989 regarding 2540 Shaughnessy Street Development Variance Permit Application, File No. 35/89. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Laking: THAT the Clerk's Office be directed to notify surrounding property owners of the application and to place the item on a subsequent agenda of Council. AND THAT Council adopt a reselution at the second meeting to issue a Development Variauce Permit to Lot B, Block 3, D.L. 379, NWLD Plan 1213 to amend Land Use Contract No.3, Bylaw No. 1201. AND THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to endorse an Encroachment Agreement to permit the development to have a canopy extend over the sidewalk in front of the property. Carried.
