PETITION

We the undersigned, believe the foot bridge at East end of Fraser Ave. that connects to
Cedar Drive school is unsafe. The large steps on Fraser Ave, side and the 3 metal posts
on the Cedar Drive school side make pedestrian traffic awkward. Also, the fence on each
side of the bridge is damaged and does not adequately protect pedestrians.

Therefore, we respectfully petition the Port Coquitlam City Council to repair the bridge
fencing and modify the approaches on each side of the bridge by removing the steps and
posts and installing ramps making walking, bike riding and handicapped access easier for

the community.
