FILE NO: PWC/900-284 Project Engineer SUBJECT: SHAUGHNESSY STREET RECONSTRUCTION - PITT RIVER ROAD TO STAFFORD AVENUE That Committee allocate $94,901 from the Road DCC Fund and $221,436 from the Tax Sale Reserve Fund for road reconstruction on Shaughnessy Sreet between Pitt River Road and Marshall Avenue. That Committee allocate $128,082 from the Water Utility Capital Fund for watermain upgrade on Shaughnessy Street between Pitt River Road and Stafford Avenue. This is further to my memorandum to PWC, dated February 09, 1994 and February 24, 1994, regarding the above captioned project. The Municipal Affairs, Recreation and Housing has denied, in their letter of February 24, 1994, our request to re-assign the approved grant for Shaughnessy watermain replacement (Phase I) to Shaughnessy watermain replacement (Phase II). Therefore, the allocation from Water DCC fund and Utility Capital fund will be $34,047 and $128,082 respectively. _ Funding for upgrading the watermain will be from the following sources; $34,047 from DCC contribution and — $128,082 .from Tax Revenue. In 1993, $360,358 was allocated from the Water Utility Capital Fund and oniy $291,000 was used for the Kingsway watermain upgrading, thereby, leaving $69,353 available for 1994. — 7 Funding for the roadwork will be from the following sources; $94,901 from DCC contribution and $221,436 from Tax Sale Reserve.
