Brown Director of Community Planning 3266 Coast Meridian Development Variance Permit File No. 4/89 RECOMMENDATION: THAT City Council direct the Clerk's Office to notify surrounding Property owners of this application and to place a resolution on a subsequent agenda of City Council. AND THAT City Council adopt the following resolution; that a development variance permit be issued for Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Block 16 of the West Half of the Northwest quarter of Section 6, Township 40 NWLD Plan 2324 to relax requirements of the Sign Bylaw No. 2095 Schedule 'D'. COMMENTS : This application is to replace a Sign on an existing building for a new tenant. The existing signage is to be removed. Signage for other stores on this building are 0.9 m (3 foot) tall rather than the normal 0.46 m (18 inch) height. Due to this the signs are all larger than permitted. Rather than have the new sign a different size than the others it is proposed the new sign be the same size, and copy area in the sign be limited.
