A By-law to amend By~law No. 17, cited as the "Port Coquitlan

Blasting By-law, 1913".
The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam, in open mezting assembled, enacts as follows:

i. Section 2 of By-law No. 17, cited as the "Port Coquitlam Blasting

By-lav, 1913" is amended by striking out the words "Fifty Cents" where the

same appears therein and substituting therefor the words and figures "Five

($5.00) Dollars", :

2. Section 7 of the By-law is repealed and. the following substituted

therefor:

“7. Evary person who violates any of the provisions of this By-law,
er who suffers or permits any act or thing to be done in violation of any of
the provisions of this By~law, or who neglects to do or refrains from doing
anything required to be done by any of the provisions of this By-law, is guiley
of an offence and upon summary conviction therefor, shall be liable to a fine
and penalty not exceeding Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars, or in default of
payment thereof, or in the alternative to imurisonment for a period of tina
mot exceeding six (6) months and in addition thereto his permit shail be
cancelled.“ ...

3. ‘This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Port Coquitlan
Blasting By~lav, 1913, Amendment By-law, 1973, No. 1235".
