SUBJECT: PROPOSED ROAD EXCHANGE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM AND
GENSTAR

RECOMMENDATION:

1. That City Council approve in principal the proposed Road Exchange between the
City of Port Coquitlam and Genstar.

2. The necessary Road Exchange Bylaw be prepared for consideration.
BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

As part of Genstar Development Ltd. - Phase 17 and the extension of Confederation Drive north
through to Western Drive, the developer has requested a road exchange as indicated on the
attached sketcii. The Engineering Department is presently arranging for the construction of the
extension of Western Drive south to accommodate a new driveway access to Hazel Trembath
School. The road exchange wiil provide the required road allowance.

It is recommended that Council approve the proposed exchange. 2
