Councillor Wright introduced a Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan.
Moved by Councillor Wright:
That Bylaw No. 2729 be read a first time.

Seconded by Councillor Thompson:

That Bylaw No. 2729 be read a second time.

WHEREAS the "Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 38, 1992, No. 2729"
Received first two readings earlier in this meeting;

THEREFORE it is now determined that the amendment to the Official Community Plan
proposed to be enacted by Bylaw No. 2729 does not affect the District of Coquitlam, The
Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

Carried.

That the Council of the City of Port Coquitlam support promoting YES/OUI vote in the
upcoming referendum on October 26, 1992, on proposed changes to Canada’s constitution.

Carried.
