RECOMMENDATION :

It is recommended that the Planning Department be authorized to
Development Variance Permit 53/90.

DISCUSSION:

The applicants are proposing to erect a free standing sign within the
required 1.5 m. front yard setback required by the sign bylaw.

Location of this sign in conformance with the bylaw could be possible,
but it would conflict with vehicular circulation in the parking lot of the
subject property.

It is therefore recommended that this DVP be supported.
