Re: Change in water rates Woodside Estates, 3046 Coast Meridian Rocd Dear Sirs We have been advised there is a change pending in the rates that the City of Port Coquitlam levies on water consumption, from a metered basis to a flat rate of $4.00 per unit per month. I have calculated that this will cost us $2496.00 per year which te at least twice what is being charged at present. The Council of Strata Plan N W 20 has instructed me to request that you reconsider and reject the proposed change. They feel that a 100% increase is not warranted due to the followings reasons: - there is only a single connection to City mains to be maintained, not 52 as the case would be if these were single family dwellings; ~- the water consumption for the outside of the buildings, te lawn watering is much less on a per unit basis than that for single family dwellings as there is much less land area per dwelling unit; ~ the charge levied by the City of Port Moody is only $25 annually on developments of a similar nature. Thank you for your consideration of the above matter. Yours very truly ' . els re | Michael J. Connelly, C. G. A. Property Manager, Strata Plan NN W 20 ec: Council N W 20
