That the recommendation of the Environmental Protection Committee,
August 10th, 1979 concerning an application to increase the number of
residents from six to ten at the Boarding Home Jocated at 1948 Grant
Avenue, be approved and that no increase be allowed at this time.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution,
Alderman Traboulay indicated that before making a decision in this
regard he would like to see a full report on the subject, including the
comments of the Simon Fraser Health Unit officials, the operator and the
residents of the area concerning the operation of the residence during
the past six months and suggested that a further public meeting be held
in this regard.

That the subject of the foregoing resolution concerning an application
to increase the number of residents at 1948 Grant Avenue be referred

back to the Environmental Protection Committee pending receipt of the

now due Six Month Report and full. documentation of the operation to

date.
